Product description
The screw conveyor is a compact and fully enclosed continuous conveying equipment with a wide range of applications in the food, chemical, building materials and environmental protection industries. It mainly addresses the challenges of transporting powdery, granular and small-sized materials. With excellent sealing performance, it effectively prevents dust from spilling out. For viscous materials such as sludge, a unique shaftless design ensures perfect prevention of entanglement and blockage. This equipment has a small footprint and is flexible to operate, making it an ideal choice for achieving clean production and automated flow in workshops.
Working principle
A screw conveyor is a type of conveying equipment that uses rotating spiral blades to generate axial thrust and continuously moves materials within a closed casing. The core principle is as follows: When the screw shaft rotates, the materials, under the combined effect of their own gravity and the friction with the casing walls, cannot rotate along with the blades but instead, like a nut moving along a screw, are forcibly pushed along the axial direction by the blades. This mechanism enables it to flexibly achieve horizontal, inclined or vertical conveyance. It is suitable for powdery and granular materials and can also handle viscous or easily tangled media through an axleless design.
