Product description
The helical ribbon mixer is a common type of stirring equipment. Its main body is a horizontal trough cylinder, and it is equipped with double or multiple layers of helical ribbon agitators inside. The helical ribbons form an internal and external circulation of material flow through rotation, which can uniformly mix various powder, granular or viscous materials in a relatively short time. It features high mixing efficiency, wide stirring range, compact structure and easy cleaning. It is widely applied in the material mixing processes of industries such as chemical engineering, food, medicine, and building materials.
Working principle
The helical ribbon mixer uses double-layer helical ribbons rotating in opposite directions inside a horizontal cylinder. The outer ribbon pushes the materials on the cylinder wall from both ends to the middle, while the inner ribbon pushes the materials in the center from the middle to both ends, forming an axial convection circulation. Meanwhile, the shear force generated by the rotation of the helical ribbons causes the materials to roll and diffuse radially. Combined with the throwing motion under the action of gravity, a three-dimensional mixing field is constructed inside the cylinder. Quickly and evenly mix powder, granules or low-viscosity materials.

- Easy to clean and maintain: The horizontal cylinder can be opened with a cover or side door. The screw ribbon is detachable. The bottom is designed with a circular arc without dead corners, meeting the requirements of food and medical hygiene.
Low power consumption and low noise: Low power demand, operating noise ≤75 decibels, more energy-efficient compared to high-speed equipment, suitable for long-term stable operation.
- Flexible control: Supports variable frequency speed regulation and variable pitch design. A flying knife assembly can be added for crushing and caking, adapting to the characteristics of different materials.
