This equipment is commonly referred to as a “bottle cap mold,” “beverage cap die,” or “multi-cavity injection mold.” Its working principle involves heating polymer granules (such as PP polypropylene or PE polyethylene) into a molten state via an injection molding machine, then injecting the melt under high pressure into the cavities of the mold. Inside the mold, the material solidifies through a cooling system, after which the ejector mechanism pushes out the finished products. The hot runner system installed at the top precisely controls the flow of molten plastic, ensuring uniform filling of every cavity, enabling continuous production with minimal or zero waste.
Material & Craftsmanship:
The main body of the mold is constructed from high-hardness, wear-resistant special alloy steels such as P20, 718H, or H13. The surfaces undergo fine mirror polishing and nitriding treatment. This not only provides excellent corrosion resistance and abrasion resistance—ensuring a long service life—but also guarantees that the final plastic products have smooth, flawless surfaces without requiring additional post-processing steps. The metal parts exhibit a silver-gray industrial texture, and all structural components are assembled with precision.
