In order to improve the anti-interference ability, the general input/output unit has an optoelectronic isolation device. Optocouplers consisting of light emitting diodes and phototransistors are widely used in digital I/O modules, and isolation amplifiers are usually used in analog I/O modules.
The external wiring of the switching I/O module. Switch I/O module input signal is only on and off two states. The on/off status of each input/output point is indicated by a light emitting diode. The external wiring is generally connected to the terminal block of the module panel. Some modules use removable socket-type terminal blocks, and modules can be quickly replaced without disconnecting the external wiring on the terminal board.
