This high-capacity 12.8V LiFePO4 battery provides 3584Wh of nominal energy from a 280Ah configuration. It is intended for compatible solar backup and low-voltage storage systems that require more energy than standard 100Ah or 200Ah batteries.
Calculate the average power and operating time of each load. The battery’s 3.584kWh rating represents nominal DC energy before conversion losses.
Charging time depends on available solar power or charger output. The battery supports up to 100A of continuous charging.
The continuous discharge limit is 200A. The inverter’s maximum battery-side demand must remain compatible.
A 280Ah battery stores 40% more nominal energy than a 200Ah battery operating at the same nominal voltage. This additional energy can extend backup duration when load and system conditions remain comparable.
The larger battery does not increase the inverter’s AC output rating. It changes the available energy reserve, while the inverter continues to determine maximum load power.
Projects should separate essential loads from optional high-consumption equipment. Heating, electric cooking and large motor loads can reduce backup time quickly even with a higher-capacity battery.
