51.2V 200Ah Wall Mounted Battery with CAN RS485 for Solar Integrators
This 51.2V 200Ah wall mounted battery is intended for solar installers, distributors and system integrators that need a clearly defined low-voltage battery platform for compatible hybrid or off-grid inverters.
Its key integration values include a 40.0–58.4Vdc operating range, 56.0V floating-charge setting, 100A continuous charging limit and 200A continuous discharge limit. These values should be checked against the inverter before communication features or mechanical installation are considered.
Optional CAN and RS485 interfaces can support battery-to-inverter data exchange when the communication protocol, cable pin definition and software settings are compatible. The existence of a CAN or RS485 port alone does not guarantee successful communication.
1. Verify the Inverter Voltage Window
The inverter must support a 51.2V battery platform and remain compatible with the complete 40.0–58.4Vdc operating range.
2. Limit the Charging Current
The inverter or external charger should be configured at or below the documented 100A continuous charging limit.
3. Calculate Continuous DC Demand
Continuous inverter demand, cables, terminals and protection devices must be planned around the 200A continuous discharge rating.
4. Confirm the Communication Protocol
CAN or RS485 communication requires a supported protocol, correct wiring and matching inverter and battery configuration.
The battery has a listed pulse-discharge capability of 300A for one second. This value is intended for brief current demand and must not be used as the continuous operating current.
Continuous DC cables, busbars, terminals, fuses and breakers should be selected from the 200A continuous rating and the applicable installation conditions. The one-second pulse value should not be used to justify undersized conductors or protective devices.
The M8 battery connection must be assembled with suitable lugs and correctly sized conductors. Cable length should be kept practical, and positive and negative conductors should be planned to minimize unnecessary voltage drop.
Optional CAN and RS485 interfaces may allow the inverter to receive supported battery information such as operating status, alarms or state-of-charge data. The exact data exchanged depends on the selected protocol and equipment configuration.
When protocol compatibility has not been confirmed, installers should not assume that automatic charge-current control or battery-status reporting will be available. Electrical settings must still remain within the battery limits.
The LCD, CAN and RS485 functions should be confirmed as part of the ordered configuration. The inverter model, firmware and communication cable definition should be reviewed before production.

Provide the inverter brand, exact model, firmware version, battery-voltage range, charging-current limit and supported CAN or RS485 protocol.
No. Port type, protocol, cable pin definition and software configuration must all be compatible.
Continuous system components should be selected according to the 200A continuous rating and applicable installation requirements. The 300A value lasts only one second.
The installer must configure compatible voltage and current settings manually and should not assume automatic data exchange or charging control.
Check the wall structure, fixing hardware, battery weight, cable route, service access, ventilation clearance and indoor environmental conditions.
A compatibility review can help confirm the voltage window, charge-current setting, communication protocol, cable definition and optional interface configuration before production.
