Product Overview
The Rear Crankshaft Oil Seal & Retainer LR029001 is an OE-grade engine sealing assembly engineered for the 4.4L TDV8 diesel engine in select for Land Rover vehicles. This component is supplied as a complete retainer and seal assembly — combining a metal retainer housing with the rubber sealing element, pre-assembled as a single unit . It mounts at the rear of the crankshaft where it exits the engine block, preventing engine oil from leaking into the bell housing area. LR022967 is the superseded/interchange part number for this assembly .
⚠️ Important: This is a rear crankshaft seal with retainer — not to be confused with the front crankshaft seal (1102415) used on the same engine family .
