The Thermostat & Housing Assembly LR001312 is a Genuine OE-grade component engineered for the 2.2L diesel engine (DW12 / 2.2 TD4/SD4) in select for Land Rover vehicles . This complete unit houses the wax-element thermostat, temperature sensor, and sealing gaskets in one ready-to-install assembly. It regulates coolant flow between the engine and radiator by opening at 83°C to maintain optimal operating temperature . C2S44028 is the Jaguar OE equivalent for the same assembly .
