The Timing Chain Tensioner LR051008 is a Genuine OE-grade component engineered for the 3.0L V6 and 5.0L V8 petrol engines (AJ126 / AJ133) in select for Land Rover and for Jaguar vehicles. This hydraulic tensioner applies and maintains constant pressure on the primary timing chain, preventing chain slack and ensuring accurate crankshaft-to-camshaft timing. LR095472 is the current replacement part, superseding LR051008, LR032088, and LR010883. C2Z28428 and AJ813898 are Jaguar equivalent part numbers for the same tensioner.
⚠️ Important: This is a hydraulic tensioner, not a guide rail. For the tensioner guide/lever, order LR051013. Both parts are typically replaced together as a set.
