The Transmission Mount LR023379 is an OE-grade drivetrain support component engineered for the for Land Rover Freelander 2 / LR2 (L359) from 2006 to 2014. Also known as a gearbox mount or transmission housing support, this component provides a rigid yet controlled connection between the gearbox and the vehicle structure. It stabilises the gearbox position, limits unwanted drivetrain movement during acceleration and engine braking, reduces the transfer of vibrations and noise to the cabin, and supports the durability of other drivetrain components. LR023379 supersedes LR002581, LR006273, and LR006976.
