The Thermostat Coolant Hose LR049989 is an OE-grade engine cooling component engineered for select for Land Rover vehicles equipped with the 5.0L AJ-V8 petrol engine (both naturally aspirated and supercharged). This water outlet tube connects the thermostat to the engine block, transporting hot coolant from the thermostat to the engine where it circulates and absorbs heat. Manufactured to original equipment specifications, LR049989 is a direct replacement for the factory plastic pipe – upgraded metal alternatives are available for enhanced durability.LR049989 supersedes LR045237. C2Z22074 and C2Z28467 are Jaguar equivalents for the same application.

Important note: Because of a design change, when replacing LR049989 you must also replace LR045238 – the system has been updated and reroutes some of the hoses.
