Protection Functions
Short Circuit Protection Automatically shuts down output when short circuit is detected. Requires power cycle to restore operation after troubleshooting.
Stall Protection Detects motor stall and requires throttle to be returned to zero before advancing again to restore normal operation.
Voltage Protection Prevents motor start if battery voltage is below 16V or above 80V (protection disabled during flight).
Temperature Protection Reduces output power to 50% at 125°C and shuts off output at 140°C. Normal operation resumes when temperature drops below 80°C after throttle reset.
Throttle Loss Protection Cuts power if throttle signal is lost for more than 2 seconds, restoring power when signal returns.
Startup Protection Shuts down output if motor isn't started within 10 seconds of throttle increase. Requires throttle reset to restore operation.
Throttle Calibration Connect motor, push throttle to maximum before powering up. After confirmation sounds, pull throttle to minimum to complete calibration.
