Our comprehensive range of gravity-fed DSM Screens is available in angles of 45°, 60°, 120°, 270°, 300°, and rap fine, catering to a diverse array of process applications. The 45° DSM screen excels in thickening and screening, while the 120° type DSM Screen is capable of thickening pulp, recovering fiber, or separating fibers as small as 100 microns in length from a water suspension .These screens are compact and require minimal maintenance, ensuring a low total cost of ownership.
Construction and Design: The DSM screen plate is crafted from V-shaped/wedge wire bars forming a bowed surface with horizontal slots between the bars. The normal slot width is 100 or 150 microns, which can be customized to meet specific application requirements .
Operational Efficiency: The flow to be screened is fed through a low-pressure nozzle, which distributes the flow tangentially over the full screen width. An adjustable slice optimizes feed velocity, ensuring that thin layers of water are "sliced off" by the screen bars and pass through the slots together with fine particles, enhancing the separation process .
