WQ-W44 is a non-ionic paraffin wax emulsion suited for use in the water-based coating, especially for the production of food-grade coated paper. With excellent water resistance, lubricity, and anti-blocking properties, it is an ideal additive for enhancing the performance and safety of food packaging materials.
This paraffin emulsion is widely utilized in food-grade coated paper in various applications. It is suited for the use in the manufacturing of coated paper packaging for dry foods such as cereals, pasta, and snacks, providing moisture resistance and durability. The paraffin emulsion based coated paper is also suitable for bakery and confectionery packaging application, which could enhance the grease resistance and printability of paper used for packaging baked goods and candies. On top of that, the paraffin emulsion provides a smooth, water-resistant surface for wrapping paper used in fast food applications. It is also used in liquid food packaging (e.g., milk cartons) to improve water resistance and prevent leakage.
WQ-W44 forms a uniform, water-resistant layer on the surface of the paper, preventing moisture from penetrating the packaging. Its non-ionic nature ensures compatibility with other coating components, providing a stable and consistent water-resistant barrier. This paraffin wax also enhances the surface smoothness of food-grade coated paper, reducing friction during manufacturing processes such as printing, cutting, and folding.
