The Cross Belt Sorter (RKSORT-CBS) is an advanced solution designed for efficient sorting of parcels and cartons of varying sizes. This system comprises essential components including tracks, carts, cart belts, recognition systems, and communication networks.
Carts are arranged in a continuous line on the track, moving parallel to form the mainline which intersects with the belts on the carts. Items can be placed on the cart belts either manually or through automated systems. When carts arrive at designated sorting points, the control system activates the belts to sort and dispatch items.
