The swing sieve is an efficient multi-layer vibrating screening equipment featuring a unique swing motion design that mimics manual screening. Compared to traditional vibrating screens, it offers higher screening efficiency, greater material handling capacity, reduced screen mesh wear, and lower noise levels. This equipment precisely separates materials of different particle sizes through multiple screen meshes with varying aperture sizes, making it ideal for industries including mining, building materials, food processing, and chemical engineering.
The vibrating screen operates using a combined motion mechanism inspired by artificial screening. The motor drives an eccentric shaft assembly, creating periodic tilting oscillations and small vertical vibrations. This motion enables materials to flow uniformly along a parabolic trajectory across the screen surface. Materials smaller than the screen apertures pass through to lower layers or collection areas, while larger materials continue forward to discharge ports, achieving efficient particle size separation.
