The screw conveyor is a continuous conveying system that utilizes rotating spiral blades to transport materials along the axial direction of the casing. This versatile equipment can handle horizontal, inclined, or vertical material transfer, making it ideal for powdery, granular, or small block materials. Note: Not suitable for materials prone to deterioration, high viscosity, or agglomeration.
The screw conveyor operates through friction and thrust between rotating spiral blades and materials. When the driving mechanism rotates the screw shaft and attached blades, they generate axial thrust on materials. Due to gravity and casing friction, materials move forward along the casing axis without rotating with the blades, achieving continuous transportation through this "screw pushing" mechanism.
