Brief Description

This Lamella clarifier adopts optimized water distribution and inclined plate design based on proven shallow settling technology. Compared with traditional sedimentation tanks, it boasts compact footprint, wider surface loading and low maintenance with long service lifespan. We offer complete automatic flocculation, sludge removal and flushing packages, alongside fully customized material and capacity to match your project demands, as a budget-friendly replacement for conventional sedimentation tanks.

 

Product Overview

This integrated lamella clarifier includes three core process functional zones: mixing reaction zone, inclined plate sedimentation separation zone and bottom sludge thickening hopper. Supporting automatic flushing pipelines, matched valves and integral supporting frame are fully equipped as standard accessories. Two main body materials are available: anti-corrosion carbon steel, SUS304/SUS316L stainless steel. It is equipped with a full integrated electric control cabinet. The system links automatic flocculant dosing, timing sludge discharge and high-pressure plate washing. The split modular assembly design enables easy container shipment and quick on-site assembly. The unit features compact layout and stable inclined plate structure. Optimized water distribution & collection parts support custom sizes, tailored to project flow rate and water quality.

 

Working Principle

The equipment completes solid-liquid separation based on general shallow settling theory. Its core logic: settling effect depends on effective settling area, not tank depth.

1. Flocculation Mixing

Wastewater flows into the built-in front mixing chamber. PAC or PAM flocculant is dosed via an external automatic chemical feeding unit and mixed thoroughly inside the chamber.

2. Gravity Sludge Settling

Mixed water flows upward into inclined plate modules steadily. Flocs settle on plate surface under gravity. They slide down to bottom hoppers for continuous thickening.

3. Clear Water Collection

Clean water without suspended solids rises to top water collection trough. It flows by gravity to subsequent water treatment processes.

4. Auto Sludge Discharge & Anti-Clog Flushing

Sludge at the bottom will be discharged automatically when reaching preset concentration. Matched flushing pipes wash plates regularly to avoid sludge blockage.

*Compact Modular Layout

Extended 2–3m inclined plates raise the filling rate by 11% to 25% for higher surface loading. Its loading rate reaches 6–10 times that of horizontal and radial flow settling tanks. With the same treatment capacity, it only occupies 15~30% land area of conventional tanks and greatly reduces civil construction cost.

*Balanced Water Distribution & Collection Structure

It reduces vortex and short-circuit flow disturbance to avoid sludge floating, keeping stable and controllable SS content of effluent.

*Anti-Clog Inclined Plate Design

Sludge naturally slides down along the plate surface under gravity. Matched automatic high-pressure flushing system lowers sludge accumulation between plates and cuts maintenance workload and service frequency.

*Integrated Full-Automatic Supporting System

The electric cabinet interlocks flocculant dosing, timing sludge discharge and regular washing to greatly cut manual labor costs and on-site attendance.

*Multiple Optional Materials

Anti-corrosion carbon steel, SUS304 and SUS316L stainless steel are available to fit wastewater with different corrosion levels.
