The SP13 Weatherproof Aviation Connector is a compact, threaded-lock circular interface from the widely recognized SP series, featuring a 13 mm nominal shell diameter. While marketed as an "aviation plug," it serves as a versatile outdoor and industrial sealed connector for low-to-medium power and multi-signal wiring applications where M12 connectors are too small and M20/M25 connectors are oversized.
Available as cable plugs paired with panel or rear-nut sockets (straight style), these connectors support solder-cup, screw, or crimp contacts and achieve IP68 sealing when coupled—providing dust-tight protection and safe immersion beyond 1 meter.
The SP13 offers exceptional value within the SP family (SP13/SP17/SP21), sharing the same twist-lock mechanism while occupying a smaller footprint and costing less than metal aviation plugs. It maintains full interchangeability across common SP1310, SP1311, and SP1312 subtypes from major Chinese and European manufacturers (Weipu-compatible).
