The M12 Sealed Male-Female Connector serves as the default circular interface for automated production environments, constructed around an M12*1.0 threaded coupling nut and compliant with IEC 61076-2-101 (A/B-code sensor and actuator) as well as IEC 61076-2-109 (D/X-code industrial Ethernet).
Product Overview
In a typical male-female pairing, the male plug fitted with pins terminates the source or cable side, while the female receptacle or socket is mounted onto the device, sensor, valve, or panel. Once tightened together, the two halves produce a sealed, keyed, and shake-proof connection rated IP67 as the baseline, with IP68 and IP69K available upon request.
The product line includes overmolded cable assemblies made from PVC, PUR, or TPU, plus field-terminable screw, solder, or insulation-displacement male and female plugs in straight or 90° configurations, housed in PA66+GF plastic or fully shielded metal shells.
M12 male-female connectors support 4 A / 250 V on A-coded 3-4 pin versions, power 24 VDC sensors and IO-Link devices, and extend to D-coded 100 Mbps and X-coded 10 Gbps industrial Ethernet—establishing them as the standard quick-disconnect link anywhere from a proximity switch to a PROFINET camera.
