Bluwat demulsifier is a high charge cationic polymer that destabilizes tough emulsions in produced water and speeds oil water separation. It is water soluble, easy to dose, and works across a wide pH range.
The polymer reduces interfacial tension in W O and O W systems, breaks the stability of oil and colloids, and forms larger flocs through molecular chain bridging. It improves separation in API units, dissolved air flotation, and gravity settlers.
Typical dose 50 to 1000 ppm depending on oil loading and water chemistry.
