BWD-01 Water Decoloring Agent is a high-efficiency dicyandiamide-based quaternary ammonium cationic polymer specially developed for industrial wastewater color removal, COD reduction, and flocculation. It is widely used in textile dyeing, pigment, ink, paper, and other high-color wastewater treatment systems where conventional coagulants are not sufficient.
Manufactured by Bluwat Chemicals, BWD-01 provides strong charge neutralization, rapid floc formation, and fast sedimentation, helping wastewater treatment plants achieve stable discharge compliance while reducing sludge volume and operating cost.

Appearance: Colorless to yellowish translucent liquid

Solubility: Completely soluble in water
Removes 50–99% of color from highly colored wastewater, especially effective for reactive, acid, disperse, and direct dyes.
Achieves 50–80% COD reduction, improving effluent quality and helping meet environmental discharge standards.
Forms compact flocs that settle quickly, enhancing clarifier and dissolved air flotation performance.
Compared with traditional inorganic coagulants such as PAC or alum, BWD-01 generates less sludge, reducing disposal costs.
Free from aluminum, chlorine, and heavy metal ions, making it suitable for industrial environmental treatment systems.
BWD-01 is widely used for:
Textile dyeing and finishing wastewater
Dyestuff and pigment manufacturing effluent
Printing ink wastewater
Paper and pulp processing
Garbage leachate treatment
Wood processing and fiber bleaching wastewater
Sugar processing wastewater
Animal farming effluent
Coking plant wastewater
It can also be used as a retention aid in paper and pulp production processes.
Dilute BWD-01 with 10–40 times water before dosing.
Add directly into wastewater and mix thoroughly.
Allow sedimentation or apply dissolved air flotation for separation.
Adjust wastewater pH to 7.5–8.0 for optimal performance.
For high COD wastewater, BWD-01 can be used together with polyaluminum chloride (PAC), based on jar test results.
Jar testing is recommended to determine optimal dosage and treatment sequence.
