This post-RO mixed bed polishing ultrapure water equipment serves as a terminal deep polishing unit specifically designed to follow single-stage or two-stage reverse osmosis systems. Utilizing high-purity anion and cation mixed ion exchange resin, it deeply removes trace residual soluble salts, silica, boron, and micro ionic impurities that RO membranes cannot fully eliminate.

The system significantly improves outlet water resistivity, consistently producing 15-18.25MΩ*cm high-purity ultrapure water. It effectively addresses water conductivity issues caused by raw water fluctuations and serves as essential polishing equipment for semiconductor, pharmaceutical, new energy battery, laboratory, and electroplating ultrapure water production lines.

Working Principle & Process Flow
  • RO produced pure water flows evenly into the mixed bed tank, passing through fully mixed cation & anion exchange resin layers
  • Cation resin adsorbs residual metal ions such as calcium, magnesium, and sodium; anion resin absorbs sulfate, chloride, silicate, and borate radicals simultaneously
  • Trace weak electrolytes and soluble silicon that penetrate the RO membrane are thoroughly captured, significantly increasing water resistivity
  • When resin adsorption reaches saturation, the system performs automatic backwashing, layered separation, acid & alkali regeneration, forward washing, and resin mixing to restore full exchange capacity
  • Polished ultrapure water flows out through precision terminal filters to intercept resin fine particles, preventing resin leakage to subsequent production equipment
