Polyacrylamide is mainly used as a way to increase the velocity of settling in clarifiers or increase the size of flocs for mechanical separation. Polyacrylamide is also widely used in the sludge dewatering processes to help create larger solids allowing for a better solid-liquid separation. Furthermore, it is used as an additive for wastewater treatment. Polyacrylamide is also employed as soil conditioner in agricultural applications. Other applications of polyacrylamide include mining, ore processing, food additives, textiles manufacturing, and gel electrophoresis.

Handling precautions Avoid contact with skin, eyes, and clothing. Avoid dust formation. Avoid breathing dust or mist.

Package Polyacrylamide is packed in inner plastic bags and furtherly in polypropylene woven bags, with each bag containing 25kg. Liquid Polyacrylamide is packed in PE plastic drum and our company will provides special tanks for transportation and storage for the liquid product to the users.

Storage Bulk quantities should be stored in bentonite coated, steel, rubber- lined mild steel, FRP or plastic tanks. For small packages, poly- ethylene or double skinned polyethylene containers are accept- able. Store indoors away from direct heat or sunlight. Avoid wet, damp and humid conditions. Avoid extreme temperatures.
