Threaded Rock Drill Rods are designed for drifting, tunneling, long-hole drilling, bench and production drilling operations. Available in round or hexagonal sections with various thread designs, including Male/Male (M/M) or Male/Female (M/F) connections. All rods undergo specialized heat treatment with carburization or high frequency processes, combined with phosphorization for enhanced durability.
T45 Threaded Drill Rods for Bench Drilling are manufactured from hollow drill steels, available in round or hexagonal configurations. The central flushing hole facilitates water or air transmission during drilling operations, while precision threads enable secure connections with couplings, shanks, and bits.
Standard extension rods are available in multiple thread types (R22, R25, R28, R32, R3212, R38, T38, T45, T51, ST58, T60) with lengths ranging from 600mm to 6400mm.
Hexagonal rods offer superior rigidity, efficient energy transfer, and enhanced flushing capabilities, while round rods provide lighter weight ideal for extension drilling applications. Longer steel sections feature larger diameters with duplicate threads at each end for optimal connection strength.
