Profilte Wire Wrapped Screen is a type of filter that is used in water and oil filtration. It is manufactured by wrapping a “V” or wedge-shaped wire around an array of longitudinal support rods. At every intersection point of the wires, the connection is strengthened via a fusion welding.
The “V” or wedge-shaped profile of the wire coils around the support rods, which creates a continuous slot opening. By doing this, the screen allows for ample amounts of water (or oil) to flow into the well, while simultaneously preventing sand and gravel from entering.
