Rectangular Ceramic Rubber Wear Blocks for Chute Linings
Wear inside a transfer chute is not always uniform. Some sections experience continuous abrasion, while others show concentrated wear near material contact areas or transitions.
For selected areas, rectangular ceramic rubber wear blocks offer an alternative to covering the entire surface with large liner panels.

A Different Format for Localized Wear Protection
Large wear panels are useful for broad, relatively flat surfaces. However, they may not suit every installation space.
Rectangular wear blocks offer a more compact format. Individual blocks can be arranged to cover a defined wear area.
This approach may be considered for selected chute surfaces, transfer sections and equipment locations with limited installation space.
The final arrangement should follow the actual wear pattern rather than simply covering every surface with the same material.
Ceramic Surface and Rubber Support
The wear-facing side contains rectangular alumina ceramic tiles.
The ceramic surface provides resistance to abrasive particle contact.
The rubber body supports the ceramic tiles and provides some cushioning against vibration and intermittent impact.
The two materials serve different functions. Their thickness and construction must be selected according to the operating conditions.
For severe direct impact from large falling rocks, additional design review is necessary. A rectangular tile structure is not automatically suitable for every impact zone.
