YTX14-BS is a type of maintenance free sealed lead acid motorcycle battery.It is widely used in medium-displacement models of brands such as Honda, Yamaha, and Suzuki, as well as some dirt cruisers and boat engineer starting.
1.Suitable for Motorcycle Starting and Vibration Environments
Lead-acid batteries themselves have good high-current discharge capabilities. The 14Ah capacity can meet the instantaneous high-current demand of motorcycles during starting (the ignition system requires high current to trigger), ensuring a high starting success rate.
The internal AGM separators can fix the electrolyte and electrode plates, resulting in better vibration resistance than traditional liquid electrolyte batteries. This allows the battery to withstand bumps and vibrations during motorcycle riding (especially on unpaved roads), reducing the risk of electrode plate loosening or short circuits.
2.Stable Low-Temperature Performance:
Compared with lithium batteries, lead-acid batteries have more stable discharge performance in low-temperature environments ( -20℃ to 0℃). They are less likely to experience "power loss and failure to start" during winter startup, making them more suitable for use in northern regions or low-temperature seasons.
3.Reduced Risk of Electrolyte Leakage, Safer and More Durable
The fully sealed design combined with the valve-regulated structure (see "Valve-Regulated Technology" below) can effectively prevent electrolyte leakage. This avoids problems such as corrosion of the battery compartment and frame metal parts (leading to rust) or leakage to the engine and circuits (causing short circuits), thereby extending the service life of both the motorcycle's electrical system and the battery itself
