Working Principle

Artificial intelligence deep learning algorithm

A powerful artificial intelligence deep learning algorithm is integrated into our counting software. No component-algorithm binding is required; AI is used to automatically identify components and apply the algorithm. The algorithm can acquire knowledge from the counted component data, for example:

1. Aspect ratio

2. The angle of each corner of the component;

3. Slope between components from inside to outside;

4. Deformation of component images from the inside to the outside, etc.

As the number of components counting increases, the results become more and more accurate. When we need to count similar components, or larger trays, we can easily handle it. 

Cloud database

Every Wellman X-ray counter supports connection to our cloud database. The machine uploads its data and images to the cloud, and automatically downloads the latest database. Our engineers also refine the algorithm in the background according to the images and data gathered from each machine, and regularly push the updated algorithm to the database for customers'use.

With the passage of time, counting accuracy will draw closer to 100%, and the scope of component types covered will keep widening. When counting a new component with the machine, our software can directly access the component’s data (if stored in our database), which delivers higher efficiency, accuracy and coverage to users.
