Application scope of the Automatic Wheelset Press:

This double cylinder horizontal hydraulic wheel press is a fully automatic design. It's used to mount and dismount the railway wheels and gears  etc. safely and effectively for railway rolling stocks. It can generate, record, save and print the pressing curves. Only required one operator to operate the wheel press machine. An high-pressure oil injection pump is optional for easy wheel dismounting.

Machine features of the Wheel Press-fitting machine:

• The Machine is a horizontal hydraulic wheel press and will be installed in a pit. (Design without foundation pit is available.)
• Gantry frame structure, with high strength, good rigidity and less deformation.
• Double-end cylinder pressing. Only need one positioning to proceed the 2 wheels' mounting and dismounting without reversal of the axle.
• Special patented centring devices at both ends of two ram cylinders for center hole positioning. The centre can insert into the center hole of both ends of the axle for wheelset positioning. During the whole operation process, it can ensure that the axle center line will be completely concentric with the two ram cylinder centerline to make the ram end face fully matched with the axle end face, without damage on axle center hole and preventing axle from upsetting.
• The centre devices only bear the weight of the axle and do not bear the large pressure of the oil cylinder. While maintaining the centre positioning, it can automatically retreat back to the inside of the ram, so that the ram fits the end face of the axle and then can bear large cylinder pressure. When mounting, dismounting and back pressure test, the centre will be retreated into the center hole and the end face of the centre will fit the end face of the axle.
• Unique Invention patented cylindrical ram for wheel mounting.
• Movable slider device with at 2 replaceable inserts to block the wheels, gears or brake discs for dismounting. It's the original patent in China.
• An electrical support trolley is provided for wheelset pre-assembly and loading/unloading onto/off from the press. It will exit from the press during the operation.
• A gearbox support is provided to support the gearbox during the whole mounting and dismounting process.
• Siemens S7-300 PLC and AdvanTech Industrial computer to control the operation. User-friendly HMI.
• The wheel mount press can track and control the whole process, detect the pressing condition of the
• wheelset, and analyze and process it through industrial computer. It can export the pressure vs displacement curve and other results onto the screen and printer.
• The wheel assembly press machine is designed with acoustic-light alarm to ensure the safe and reliable operation.

Service provided:

• Hubei Heqiang can provide the service of installation, commissioning, test, training, maintenance and after-sale service etc.
• The warranty period will be one year (or as per required) from the date of final acceptance qualified.
• During the warranty, we will be responsible to repair or replace any damaged component caused due to the machine quality at our cost. The warranty of the replaced parts will be one year from the date of replacement.
• After the warranty period, we will provide a wide range of technical support and spare parts service.
• We will provide free upgrade of the control software by sending the upgrade software in CD format.
• The after-sale service includes all aspects, such as mechanical, hydraulic, electronic control, operation, training, software upgrade, etc.
• We will keep sufficient stock of the basic spare parts.
