It uses highly integrated WiFi single chip based on advanced COMS process. 3131A-S integrates whole WiFi function blocks into a chip, such as SDIO/MPU,MAC, BB,AFE,RFE, PA, EEPROM and LDO/SWR, except fewer passive components remained on PCB.
