3.Applications

Our LBS Lebus Grooved Sleeve (Model RD95-D1635-L1345) is custom machined for heavy lifting drums, with core strength of preventing messy wire rope winding. Manufactured under LBS brand, it passes ISO9001, CE and DNV ABS certifications to meet international industry standards.
It is mainly applied to offshore petroleum cranes and large engineering winches under harsh working conditions. The Lebus spiral groove structure protects the base drum from abrasion and corrosion, effectively extending the service life of drums and 95mm steel wire ropes. It can be stably installed on ships, oil platforms and construction lifting equipment.
This sleeve is made of Q355D  low alloy high-strength steel. All parameters including 60° right-hand groove, pitch, PCD and through-flange cable entry support customized adjustment. Surface hardening treatment is optional to further boost wear resistance. We provide plug welding and bolted two connection modes, as well as left/right rotation options to match different winch systems, perfectly fitting marine, construction and mining lifting industries.
Products are packed in export wooden cases or pallets, with a delivery cycle of 18-30 days. Small-batch single-piece customization is available, prices are negotiable, and payment terms cover T/T and L/C. Our sufficient production capacity ensures punctual delivery for all engineering projects.

We provide customized surface strengthening procedures such as surface hardening, which greatly extends the service life of both sleeve and thick steel cables like the 95mm-diameter rope matched by this model.
This sleeve’s standard blank material is Q355D low-alloy high-strength steel, fully equivalent to European standard S355J2. We also expand optional material ranges covering ordinary carbon steel, multiple alloy grades, stainless steel and polymer nylon to adapt to various temperature and load conditions. Besides adjustable left/right spiral grooves, we support customized 60° right-hand groove angle, groove pitch, PCD diameter and through-flange cable entry layout.
Whole manufacturing relies on high-precision CNC machining equipment to ensure strict dimensional accuracy of all spiral grooves. Two installation solutions—plug welding and bolt fastening—can be selected freely to fit existing drum structures. Export wooden cases or solid pallets are adopted for packaging to avoid damage during long-distance shipping; single-piece trial orders are acceptable, and unit price can be adjusted according to your total project quantity.
