This Lebus grooved sleeve is manufactured from high‑strength Q355D steel. It is a detachable outer‑layer rope‑groove kit for drums, designed for Φ30 mm wire rope. It features a groove‑bottom diameter of Φ754 mm, a pitch‑circle diameter (PCD) of Φ784 mm for the first‑layer wire rope, a groove pitch of 31.5 mm and 15.5 groove turns, adopting a left‑hand 60° Lebus groove configuration. The sleeve weighs 170 KG net.
It is bolt‑connected onto the bare drum body and fastened with 2 sets of 8‑M16×40 hexagon socket countersunk head screws. Its surface is coated with epoxy zinc‑rich primer for superior anti‑corrosion performance. The precision‑machined Lebus grooved profile guides well‑ordered multi‑layer wire‑rope spooling, preventing rope jumping, disordered winding and crushing damage. It protects the wire rope and reduces wear on the drum body. Once worn out in service, the sleeve can be replaced independently without changing the whole drum assembly.
