Bolted-on 60° Folded Lebus Grooved Double Drum for 24mm Wire Rope

1.Product Description

This is a Lebus grooved double drum manufactured from Q355D high-strength low-alloy steel. It features a split symmetrical double-groove structure with an overall drum length of 900±0.3 mm and an outer diameter of Φ710. It is equipped with 60° folded Lebus rope grooves. The left-hand and right-hand helical grooves are fully symmetrical: the left helix winds rope from left to right, while the right helix winds rope from right to left. There are 2 layers with 13.5 coils per layer and a starting angle of 0°, enabling orderly bidirectional spooling of steel wire rope.

The product adopts a welded assembly structure. For steel plates with thickness ≥12 mm, grooves are machined in compliance with welding standards GB985-88 and GB986-88. All sharp edges are deburred and rounded; welds are cleaned of slag and ground smooth. Precision-machined rope grooves ensure smooth winding of steel wire rope and reduce risks of rope crushing, biting and disordered spooling. Mounting bolt holes are arranged on flanges at both ends for direct assembly to winches and hoisting equipment, suitable for offshore and construction machinery hoisting working conditions.
