Lebus High Polymer Nylon Drum Sleeve for 15mm Wire Rope
1.Description
Lebus high polymer nylon drum sleeve is a replaceable grooved rope protector specially developed for offshore, marine and port hoisting winches. It can be fitted directly onto the surface of bare steel drum and fastened by bolts. Adopting genuine Lebus curved groove structure with alternating parallel segments and transition crossover segments, it guides steel wire rope to wind neatly in multiple layers, thoroughly solving common problems such as disordered spooling, rope jumping, rope crushing and wire cutting during multi-layer rope winding.
The sleeve is manufactured from high-performance high molecular nylon material, featuring wear resistance, self-lubrication, vibration & noise reduction, corrosion resistance and gentle protection for wire rope. Compared with traditional steel grooved drums, it delivers better protection and longer service life for wire ropes. It is of split construction. When worn, only the nylon sleeve needs replacement instead of the whole steel drum, greatly cutting maintenance cost and downtime. It is suitable for harsh heavy-lifting working conditions at sea and outdoor sites.

3.Advantage
(1) Precise rope spooling to prevent disorder and rope damage: Featuring standard Lebus segmented curve structure with smooth transition between parallel and crossover segments. The wire rope remains neatly arranged even under 4-layer multi-layer winding. It effectively avoids wire rope crossing, squeezing, biting and jumping, greatly extending wire rope service life.
(2) Wear-resistant nylon material for rope protection: High molecular nylon has self-lubricating property, low friction coefficient, good toughness and impact resistance. It will not abrade wire rope rigidly like steel grooves. Meanwhile, it resists seawater corrosion and aging for outdoor and marine harsh environments.
(3) Greatly reduced maintenance cost: Split replaceable design. When the drum sleeve wears, ages or gets damaged, only the liner needs replacement, no need to disassemble and replace the entire steel drum, saving spare parts cost and maintenance man-hours.
(4) Stable operation with noise and vibration reduction: Nylon material offers excellent cushioning performance. It absorbs shock and reduces noise during rope winding & unwinding, lowers impact fatigue of wire rope and improves running stability and operation safety of the winch.
(5) Easy installation and strong adaptability: Pre-machined standard mounting holes on finished product. Bolt directly after fitting onto bare drum. Quick on-site assembly and replacement without secondary processing.
