Product Overview
The fundamental concept behind a permanent magnet generator revolves around the rotor containing permanent magnet materials that create a steady magnetic field. This constant magnetic field is essential for the generator's operation.
When a prime mover, which can be a wind turbine, water turbine, or an engine, causes the rotor to spin, the rotating magnetic field interacts with the conductors located in the stator windings. As the magnetic field moves, it effectively "cuts" through these conductors.
Based on the law of electromagnetic induction, this movement induces an electromotive force within the stator windings. Consequently, if an external circuit is connected to the generator, electrical energy is produced and can be supplied for use.
