Product Overview
The fundamental concept behind a permanent magnet generator lies in the use of permanent magnets embedded in the rotor. These magnets create a steady and constant magnetic field. As the rotor is set into motion by a prime mover—such as a wind turbine, water turbine, or an engine—the magnetic field rotates along with it.
When this rotating magnetic field passes through the stator windings, it interacts with the conductors wound within the stator. Based on the laws of electromagnetic induction, this interaction induces an electromotive force within the stator coils.
Once an external electrical circuit is connected to the stator windings, the induced electromotive force causes a current to flow, thereby allowing the generator to supply electrical energy to the external load.
