Product Overview

Designed for mobile, utility and industrial distribution projects, this three phase sealed substation power transformer provides two medium-voltage output circuits from a 13800V primary source. The unit is rated 7500 kVA under KNAN cooling and 10000 kVA under KNAF cooling, with dual outputs of 7200Y/4160V and 4160Y/2400V for separate 5000/6650 kVA and 2500/3350 kVA load groups. Copper windings, silicon-steel core construction, Midel 7131 synthetic ester fluid, off-circuit taps and a full monitoring/protection package support specification matching, outdoor installation and project review.

Product Highlights


  • Dual-secondary voltage architecture
    One 13800V delta primary supplies both 7200Y/4160V and 4160Y/2400V secondary systems, allowing one transformer to support two medium-voltage distribution levels.


  • Split secondary ratings with KNAN KNAF cooling
    The transformer is rated 7500 kVA under KNAN natural cooling and 10000 kVA with the cooling fans operating in KNAF mode. The two secondary windings are allocated as 5000/6650 kVA and 2500/3350 kVA, giving engineers a clear basis for downstream load planning.


  • Qualitrol pressure-protection package
    The Qualitrol rapid pressure rise relay detects sudden internal pressure changes and provides alarm or trip contacts. The Qualitrol pressure relief device helps release excessive tank pressure and improve transformer protection.
