Residential Single Phase Pad Mounted Transformer Distribution Transformer 230V To 2400V Loop Feed​

Single-phase pad-mounted transformers are housed in secure cabinets equipped with doors and locks, typically situated outdoors. They come with ratings ranging from 15 to 250 kVA. All these distribution transformers are oil-insulated, self-cooled, and available in either loop or radial feed configurations, and they feature a dead-front design. The choice between radial and loop feed configurations depends on the type of circuit where the transformers will be installed.

1. Safe and reliable: The pad-mounted transformer adopts efficient insulation protection and heat dissipation equipment, and the structure of the cable cabinet is reasonable, which can effectively ensure the safety and reliability of power equipment. It has strong overload capacity: it allows overload of 2 times for 2 hours and overload of 1.6 times for 7 hours, but it does not affect the life of the pad-mounted transformer.
2. The elbow plug is adopted: it is very convenient to connect the high-voltage incoming cable, and it can be plugged and unplugged with power.
3. Strong defense ability: The pad-mounted transformer has strong defense ability, which can effectively resist the instantaneous voltage peak in the power equipment and protect the equipment from damage.
4. Double fuse protection is adopted:

 a. The plug-in fuse is a dual-sensitive fuse (temperature, current) to protect the secondary side of the box transformer, and

 b. The backup current limiting protection fuse (ELSP) protects the fault inside the box transformer and is used to protect the high-voltage side.
5. Long life: The transformer adopts high-quality materials and high-tech production technology, which is durable and has a longer service life. The overall service life is higher than that of ordinary oil-immersed transformers.
6. Pad-mounted transformers are divided into terminal type and ring network type (one transformer can supply power to another transformer at the same time). The conversion is very convenient, which improves the power supply distance and reliability.
