Automotive Wire High Speed Extrusion Production Line 1500m/min
This automated production line is specially designed for manufacturing wires and cables, enabling continuous insulation coating of metal conductors (copper/aluminum). The system supports integration with various take-up machines including KPS cone-shaped reel fully automatic wire take-up machines, double-head coiling machines, and double-reel semi-automatic wire take-up machines.
Extrusion Process Components
Raw Material Preparation: Selection and preparation of high-purity materials including copper for conductivity and polymers (PVC, PE, XLPE) for insulation
Feeding System: Controlled material flow into the extruder hopper for consistent, continuous feeding
Extruder Machine: Core system featuring rotating screw, heated barrel, and shaping die
Cooling System: Immediate solidification using water baths or air cooling systems
Pulling and Winding: Capstan-controlled pulling and final winding onto reels or spools
Applications
Suitable for single-color, single-color strip, double-color strip, and full-cover extrusion of thermoplastic insulation materials including PVC, PP, PE, XLPE, and low-smoke halogen-free compounds. Meets German, Japanese, Korean, Italian and other automotive wire insulation extrusion standards.
