Huawei EchoLife EG8240P is a routing ONT of Huawei Agile POL solution, which achieves ultra wideband access through GPON technology. The uplink provides one GPON port, while the user side provides four GE interfaces (supporting PoE function) and two POTS interfaces. Please follow the steps below to log in to the web interface of EG8240PStep 1:
Set the IP address of the personal computer to be in the same network segment as the management IP address of EG8240P. For example:
IP address: 192.168.100.100 Subnet Mask: 255.255.255.0 The factory default values for EG8240P management IP address and subnet mask are: IP address: 192.168.100.1 Subnet mask: 255.255.255.0 Step 2:
Enter the management IP address of EG8240P in the browser address bar, and then press Enter. The browser will pop up a login window Mouth. Step 3: Enter the username and password in the login window (username is root, factory default password is admin123, select Select the web interface language, and then click Login. Once the password is verified, you can access the web interface. After logging into the web interface, if no operation is performed within 5 minutes and the system exits after a timeout, the system will automatically return Return to login status. Three consecutive user name and password input errors resulted in the system being locked and automatically unlocked after one minute. After logging into the web interface using the initial username and password, please modify the login password in a timely manner.
