The L7812CD2T is a classic, widely-used positive voltage regulator integrated circuit (IC) designed to provide a fixed, stable +12V DC output from a higher, unregulated input voltage. As part of the 78xx series, it is renowned for its simplicity, robustness, and ease of use.
