GS Pulling Tool Wireline Pulling Tool

I. Introduction: 

The GS type pulling tool is used to pull inner fishing necks, which can cut off and release an object downward and is usually is used to throw and fishing the lock cylinder, packer, bridge plug and others with inner fishing necks. After connecting the GU joint (upward shear joint), it can be converted to be an upward shear and releasing tool.

III. Structural features: 

The GS type pulling tool While the tool is fishing and when the fishing claw just touches the mouth end of the inner fishing neck, it will retreat and fall in the position where the mandrel diameter is a little small and then is taken back; after the fishing claw enters into the inner fishing neck completely, the fishing claw will splay immediately with the thrust of compressed secondary spring.

While throwing it and when the skirt withstands the end face of the inner fishing neck, the tool will move downward can cut off the shear pin because of the relative motion of mandrel and shear pin seat; under the function of main spring and spring seat, the fishing claw and mandrel have relative motion and then the fishing claw withdraws.

The fixed seat of claw can make the fishing claws distributed uniformly and act synchronously.

IV. Maintenance:

1. After disassembling the tool, inspect the damages of all parts and change the damaged parts.

2. While assembling the tool, the thread surface shall be painted with a thin layer of grease.

3. After assembly, the connection threads of fishing neck shall be protected with thread protector and marked for standby application.
