The hydraulic tool catcher device is composed of the main body, the core shaft, the retrieval claws, the lower connector, the union nut, the protective plate, the piston, the spring, the sealing parts, and the rubber parts. The lower connector at the bottom is connected to the wellhead connector. The upper end is a union fitting that can be connected to the wellhead device. Inside the hydraulic capture device, there are retrieval claws. Under the control of the spring and the external hand pump, it can achieve a smooth release after successful retrieval.

Working principle

When in operation, first connect the hydraulic control catcher to the wellhead. After the object to be retrieved rises, the retrieval claws are lifted. The retrieved object and the retrieval neck end enter the retrieval claws. Under the action of the spring, the retrieval claws retract to their original position. The retrieved object is successfully retrieved. At this time, the retrieved object cannot be released. The retrieval is successful. When it is necessary to release, press the pump with your hand to make the retrieval claws move backward. The retrieval claws open and can be released smoothly.

Product Test/Strength Test

(1). Attach the pressure test connector and connect the pressure test pipeline; 
(2). Start the pressure test pump for the pressure test. The test pressure is 1.5 times the working pressure. Maintain the pressure for 15 minutes and fill in the test record card; 
(3). Pay attention to checking if there is any leakage at each threaded connection and sealing area. 
Drilling Test: 
Connect the pressure test hand pump, apply pressure, and observe if the drilling claws can be retracted.
