Technical Composition & Manufacturing
HMR MDF is manufactured using:
100% debarked softwood/hardwood fibers (FSC® or PEFC-certified options available)
Enhanced urea-formaldehyde (UF) or melamine-urea-formaldehyde (MUF) resin system with higher cross-linking density
Paraffin wax emulsion (1.5–2.5%) uniformly dispersed during fiber blending to repel water penetration
Specialized catalysts and curing agents to optimize resin polymerization under heat and pressure
