This premium 148mm 21mm WPC cladding is engineered for demanding architectural projects. Featuring a certified B1 fire retardant rating for maximum safety, this high-performance exterior composite wall cladding delivers exceptional weatherproof durability against severe climates and UV exposure, providing an elite, low-maintenance facade solution for commercial and residential developments.
About this Product
Certified B1 Fire Retardancy: Tested to meet strict commercial building codes, this cladding achieves a certified B1 fire-retardant rating. It effectively retards flame spread, fully satisfying the rigorous fire safety regulations required for commercial developments, high-density residential projects, and public infrastructure.
Precision 148mm * 21mm Profile: Manufactured in strict accordance with international manufacturing tolerances, the 148mm width and 21mm thickness deliver exceptional impact strength and structural stability, ensuring a seamless interlocking fit during installation.
All-Weather Weatherproof Protection: Formulated with high-performance UV stabilizers and high-density polymers, the material features an extremely low water absorption rate. It resists swelling, warping, and cracking under extreme weather conditions, including severe temperature fluctuations, intense UV exposure, and heavy rainfall.
High-Performance WPC Composition: By scientifically blending natural wood fibers with heavy-duty polymers, this first-generation WPC exterior panel fundamentally eliminates the common vulnerabilities of traditional timber, such as rotting, termite infestation, and splintering.
Project-Grade Exterior Solution: Engineered specifically for high-standard architectural facades, this composite cladding maintains long-term color stability while drastically reducing post-installation maintenance costs, helping contractors win project bids and eliminate client callbacks.

How to Install
Step 1 (Substructure Framework): Secure the aluminum, galvanized steel, or WPC joists vertically onto the wall using expansion screws. Use a laser level to strictly align and ensure all joist surfaces are on the exact same vertical plane.
Step 2 (Installing Starter Clips): Measure horizontally and lock the stainless steel starter clips at the absolute bottom of each vertical joist to establish a perfect level baseline for the first row of cladding.
Step 3 (Fixing the First Panel): Slot the bottom groove of the first 148mm*21mm WPC cladding board fully into the starter clips. Adjust its position, making sure the tongue side of the profile faces upward.
Step 4 (Securing with Hidden Fasteners): Insert hidden stainless steel screw fasteners into the edge of the upper groove of the board and lock them securely into the joist framework. If using WPC joists, pre-drilling is mandatory to prevent the joist from splitting due to uneven stress.
Step 5 (Sequential Interlocking Installation): Align and slide the bottom groove of the next cladding board onto the exposed tongue of the secured board below. Repeat this interlocking and fastening process, using a spirit level to check alignment every 3 rows to avoid cumulative tolerance errors.
Step 6 (Corner and Edge Finishing): Cover all external corners, window perimeters, and top edges with matching WPC L-corners or fascia trims. Secure them using exterior-grade structural adhesive or color-matched screws to achieve a seamless, modern architectural look.

FAQ
Q1: Does this 148mm 21mm WPC cladding have an official fire rating?
Yes. This premium exterior composite wall cladding is certified to meet the B1 fire-retardant standard (specifically EN 13501-1 Class B-s1, d0). It is a difficult-to-ignite material that significantly retards flame spread, emits extremely low smoke, and produces no flaming droplets, making it fully compliant with commercial and residential building safety codes.
Q2: What makes this WPC cladding "weatherproof" for long-term exterior use?
Our first-generation WPC formula incorporates high-density HDPE polymers and advanced anti-UV stabilizers. With an exceptionally low water absorption rate (≤ 1.5%), the 148mm*21mm profile resists warping, rotting, splintering, and mold growth, ensuring structural integrity under severe temperature fluctuations, intense UV exposure, and heavy rainfall.
Q3: What are the exact dimensions of this profile, and what is its effective coverage?
The nominal profile dimension is 148mm in width and 21mm in thickness. Due to its interlocking tongue-and-groove design, the effective visible coverage width per board is approximately 138mm (actual net coverage may vary slightly based on installation tolerance). Our factory maintains strict manufacturing tolerances to ensure a seamless fit.
Q4: Does the color of this weatherproof exterior cladding fade over time?
As a high-performance exterior composite cladding, it contains premium UV inhibitors. Like all WPC materials, it will undergo a slight, natural weathering transition during the first 3 to 6 months of outdoor exposure before stabilizing. After this initial seasoning period, the color remains highly stable (Δ E ≤ 2.0) and will not require painting or staining.
