How to Install
1. Surface Prep & Joist Layout / Base Layer Construction
Ensure the base wall is flat, dry, and structurally sound. Install a moisture barrier if necessary. Fix the substructure joists (aluminum, steel, or treated timber) vertically or horizontally depending on your panel orientation. Joist spacing (span) must be less than 50cm (ideally 35cm to 45cm) to prevent panel deflection.
2. Establish Ventilation & Air Gap
Ensure a continuous air gap of at least 25mm behind the panels. This allows supply air to enter from the bottom and exit from the top, preventing trapped moisture, mold, and heat buildup behind the facade.
3. Fixing the First Panel
Install the starter clips or position the first WPC panel at the base or corner of the wall. Use flat-head self-tapping stainless steel screws to secure the female/male joint point directly onto the joist frame. Use level tools to ensure it is perfectly plumb.
4. Interlocking Panels & Expansion Gaps
Slide the next panel into the groove of the previous one. Crucial EEAT Requirement: Due to natural thermal expansion and contraction, if installing under 20°C, a 2mm to 5mm gap is strictly required at each butt joint (end-to-end connection) where two wall panels meet. Use extra joists at the ending of each panel to support joint points.
5. Trims & Edge Finishing
Install matching WPC corner trims, L-profiles, or fascia boards to cover exposed edges, windowsills, and door frames, sealing the system nicely against water ingress while maintaining a sleek aesthetic.
Installation Tips
Gap is King: Never butt panels tight end-to-end; leave a 2-5mm thermal expansion gap. Always leave 25mm space behind the panels for airflow.
Solid Base: Do not screw directly into concrete. Max joist spacing: 50cm.

Q1: Will the surface shield of this second-gen outdoor WPC panel become sticky in intense heat?
A1: No, absolutely not. The outer shield is made from a specialized high-density polymer compound with a high thermal melting point. It remains completely dry, rigid, and non-sticky even when directly exposed to intense summer heatwaves reaching up to 70°C.
Q2: Does the co-extrusion wall panel contain any toxic chemical flame retardants?
A2: No. Our second-generation panels achieve an advanced fire-retardant rating (Class B1) through non-toxic, eco-friendly mineral additives integrated during the extrusion process. It releases no heavy metals or toxic halogen gases, making it perfectly safe for eco-conscious residential facades.
Q3: What should I use to wash off hard water mineral stains or water spots from the facade?
A3: Because the outer layer is non-porous, water spots or mineral scaling from sprinklers sit completely on the surface. You can easily remove them by washing the cladding with a mixture of mild household white vinegar and warm water, followed by a clean water rinse from a standard garden hose.
Q4: Why can't I use a steel wire brush to clean stubborn spots on a second-gen panel?
A4: Steel wire brushes or harsh abrasive pads will micro-scratch and permanently dull the high-tech polymer shield layer. This ruins the beautiful 3D embossed wood-grain texture and thin protective barrier. To clean stubborn debris, always stick to soft nylon-bristled brushes and standard soap detergents.
