How to Install
1. Subframe Spacing (Max 350mm)
Install your joists (wood or aluminum) on a level, draining foundation. Joist spacing must be a maximum of 350mm center-to-center to prevent the deck from sagging.
2. Lock the First Board
Screw Starter Clips into the edge of each joist. Slide the groove of your first WPC board firmly into these clips to lock the outer perimeter without surface screws.
3. Install Center Clips
Slide Hidden Fastening Clips into the inner groove of the board at every joist intersection and screw them down. These clips automatically create the mandatory 5mm side-to-side expansion gap. Slide the next board into place and repeat.
4. Manage End-to-End Joints (Double Joists)
Where two board ends meet:
Must use Double Joists: Each board end must rest on its own independent joist and clip.
Leave an Expansion Gap: Leave a 5mm to 8mm end-to-end gap so the boards can expand in summer without buckling.
5. Perimeter Wall Gap & Fascia
Wall Clearance: Always leave a 10mm gap between the decking and any brick wall or solid structure.
Finishing: Cover exposed hollow edges by screwing on a WPC Fascia Trim around the perimeter.

A3: Yes. The polymer outer shield is highly durable and chemically inert. It will not react with calcium chloride, rock salt, or standard winter de-icing chemicals. The salt will not cause surface corrosion, pitting, or whitening, allowing municipal crews to clean the freeze-thaw resistant walking surface safely and rapidly.
