1．Product Overview

GB/T 12754 prepainted color steel coil is designed for roofing sheets, wall cladding, building panels, and home appliance applications requiring a finished color surface and reliable substrate protection.

The product uses a hot dipped galvanized steel base with a controlled paint coating system. The zinc coating protects the steel substrate, while the color coating improves surface appearance, weatherability, and consistency for visible applications.

2．Technical Solution

The coil combines galvanized steel substrate with primer and finish paint layers. The zinc coating range is 20–275g/m², allowing selection according to service environment and corrosion protection requirements.

The top surface uses 10–20 micron polyester plus 5 micron primer. The back surface uses 5–7 micron or 7–8 micron polyester plus 5 micron primer. Available paint systems include polyester, SMP, and PVDF. SMP is suitable for projects requiring improved weather resistance compared with standard polyester coating.
