MT-101 is a blend of acrylic polymer and water, appearing as a milky-white to slightly yellowish, odorless, high-purity viscous liquid with a solid content up to 80%. It offers extremely high thickening efficiency and requires no additional ammonia or other neutralizers. It can be used directly within a broad pH range of 4–10, significantly increasing system viscosity. It is suitable for various water-based coatings based on styrene-butadiene, VAE, acrylic, and emulsified asphalt systems.

1.Architectural Coatings Industry – Used for thickening interior and exterior water-based latex paints, providing excellent sag resistance and pigment suspension.
2.Waterborne Industrial Anti-corrosion Coatings – Specifically designed for acidic systems such as waterborne epoxy zinc-rich primers and anti-rust paints, where conventional thickeners fail.
3.Waterborne Wood Finishes – Applied in clear coats and pigmented wood lacquers to adjust viscosity and improve leveling and film build.
4.Waterborne Floor Coatings – Used in epoxy or polyurethane floor paints to enhance filler suspension and prevent hard settling during storage.
5.Emulsified Asphalt & Specialty Waterborne Systems – Also compatible with styrene-butadiene, acrylic emulsions, and emulsified asphalt-based coatings for improved rheology and stability.
